Grain Crops Field Day

An area Grain Crops Field Day will be held in Lebanon, KY on August 23rd at 9:00 am. CT at the farm of Joe Robert and Michael Buckman. (1085 Hwy. 1157, Lebanon, KY 40033)
A meal will be provided by the Marion County Cattlemans Association.

Topics and Speakers will include:

• Dr. Chad Lee: University of Kentucky- How does temperature affect pollination
  How much will yields be affected this year?


• Dr. Paul Vincelli: University of Kentucky- Fungicide use on grain crops


• Grant Curry: Opti-Crop- Soil pit demonstration/root development issues


• Fall Fertility issues, variable rate and soil testing technology for ATV’s


• Corn fungicide demonstration plot
  Corn variety trials
